Ever since his dad handed him his camera so Nawaaz can take a photo of his baby sister, he knew he wanted to take photos.

Originally from Mauritius, Nawaaz moved to UK in 2005. In his bag was his trustee Minolta Dimage z1 on which he learnt the basic technical aspects of photography.

Soon after, he purchased his first Nikon DSLR and embarked on a journey where his passion, creativity and understanding of photography increased all the time.

He is a fan of the work of Steve McCurry, Richard I'Anson and Mitchell Kanashkevich who inspires him on his street and travel photos.
